I just stumbled across this podcast series and I'm so in love with it. It was in series two that you discussed the four levels of being ready for change. I realize in myself that I have some habits and things about myself that I say I want to change but I'm stuck in the "I'm aware I need/want to change this but...…." stage. My question is how or when or do we get into that final "I'll throw up if I do this for one more minute" stage. Is it something that is supposed to come naturally? Is it something that we can motivate ourselves into? Personal example: I'm in the habit of having a cocktail after work, nearly every night. I'm NOT and alcoholic, I don't feel like I couldn't stop the habit if I wanted to. I don't see anything really wrong with it except what it may be doing to me health wise. Every time I've wanted to break this habit, I don't follow through. How do I get in the final stage to actually change it? And what if I never want to change it, how can I except it. I would love more information on this. Thank you! As a side note, I really enjoy you Dr. Phil on your podcast. I have to say, it sounds like the Dr. Phil I first started listening too. The shows on TV today just sound so scripted anymore, I'm so thankful to hear you again in this forum!!
